Betty L. Sutton

Private funeral services for Betty L. Sutton, 86, of Naples, Fl, formerly of Davenport were held on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at the Davenport Memorial Park Masouleum Chapel. There was no public visitation. Mrs. Sutton died on December 12, 2011 at the Avow Hospice House in Naples, FL. Cunnick-Collins Mortuary and Cremation Service assisted the family with arrangements.Betty Lucille Longschwager was born on June 19, 1925 in Maquoketa, IA. She married Max E. Wilson in 1943 in Clinton, IA, and later married Kermit M. Sutton in 1957 in Galesburg, IL. He preceded her in death on June 6, 1992. Mrs. Sutton worked at the Rock Island Arsenal for many years in the Forms Management Department retiring in 1975. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Davenport, the Women of the Moose, and NARFE.Surviving members of the family include a son: Kermit S. Sutton in Naples and 2 grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands: Max and Kermit, a son, James, and 2 sisters: Katherine and Charline.Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church.
