Bonnee Manchester, 71, a resident of Davenport, Iowa, went to Heaven the afternoon of June 27, 2011 at Genesis Medical Center, West Campus. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, June 30, 2011 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon – 1:00 P.M., Thursday at the funeral home. Bonnee was born on March 15, 1940 in Davenport to the late Herman and Viola Arps. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Richard C. Manchester, on July 5, 1959 in Davenport.
She retired after 24 years from the Defense Finance and Accounting Service. She also enjoyed bowling.
Bonnee is survived by her loving husband, Richard Manchester, son Terry L. Manchester and Cheryl Cole, daughter Susanne Manchester and Johnafa Lee; 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a brother, Delbert (Margo) Arps.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Charles R. Manchester and Brian D. Manchester, and a granddaughter, Jennifer Manchester.
