Candy McGee, 60, of Davenport, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Genesis East in Davenport. Following cremation, no visitation or services are planned. Inurnment will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Scott County. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.
On December 15, 1977 she married Rayburn R. McGee in Lyons, Iowa. He preceded her in death on May 29, 1990.
She was employed the last seventeen years as a certified nurse’s aide at the Davenport Good Samaritan Center.
Survivors include her children: Robert (Julee) Russell, Michael Russell and Heather McGee; grandchildren: Dakota, Seth, Morgan, Alec, Jerry and Kodee; great granddaughter, Mackenzie; sister, Roberta Green and nephews, Corey (Heather) Green and Patrick (Natalie) Green. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Betty Russell.
