Carol Diane Kuehl, 82, of Bettendorf, Iowa, passed away on June 15, 2025. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. The funeral will begin at 3:00 p.m. Services will take place at Christ’s Family Church, 4601 Utica Ridge Rd, Davenport, Iowa 52807.
Carol was born on October 5, 1942, to Howard and Hallie (Gill) Lenker in Wilton, Iowa. She graduated from Wilton High School and went on to work as a legal secretary before starting a family. On December 3rd, 1966, she married Lester Kuehl in Wilton, Iowa, and together they had 3 children. She would later go on to work for Pleasant Valley High School and the Mississippi Bend Area Education Agency before retiring in 1997. Carol loved spending quality time with her grandchildren and family. Her faith was strong, and she dedicated countless hours of her life to church. She played the piano and organ for many church services for over 60 years. She had a creative mind and loved to craft, especially Valentines and greeting cards.
Carol is survived by her children; Doug, Christy, and Karla, brother Dwayne, sister Shelby, 9 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Lester, sisters; Dorothy, Mildred, Doris, and Ruby.
In her honor memorials may be made to Christ’s Family Church.
