Catherine Ann Hill, born on August 16, 1931, passed away on September 20, 2025, at the age of 94 at Allure of Moline. Cremation rites have been accorded. Please reach out to the family for the date and time of Catherine's Celebration of Life.
Catherine was born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to parents John and Paralee (Dorsey) Miller. Catherine worked as a cook at Sara Lee for many years.
She was married to James Hill, who preceded her in death. Catherine enjoyed spending time with her family and playing bingo. Catherine attended the Salvation Army church in Moline. She also enjoyed attending adult day in Moline.
Those left to honor her memory include her son; Robert (Sue) Lewis of Maryland; step-daughter, Temothy “Rene” West of Rock Island, IL; granddaughters, China (Ira) Jeter of Davenport, IA and Marquitta Lewis of Davenport, IA, Laclara Brown of Davenport, IA, and Katrina Grayson of Pensacola, FL, and several great-grandchildren.
Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Hill, and her sister, Jennie B. Parker.
