Charles R. Mepham Sr, 84 of Clarksville, TN, formerly of Donahue, IA passed away on March 13, 2023 at Tennova Hospital, Clarksville, TN. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Weerts Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Charles was born on December 21, 1938 in Davenport, IA to George and Frances (Cardin) Mepham. Charles proudly enlisted in the United States Navy in 1958 and served until his retirement in 1978. He was united in marriage to Joyce Marland on December 13, 1963 at Norfolk Naval Base. Charles was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. His pleasure and passion was model railroading.
Charles is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Joyce; children, Charles “Chad” Jr. (Cindy) Mepham, Blain (Leslie Rolley) Mepham; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one sister, Dru Cook and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Ian Mepham, Aaron Mepham and one brother, Tom Mepham.
