Cindy Sue Becker

Per her request, cremation rites will be accorded and a celebration of her life will take place early next year.

Cindy was born February 9, 1959 in Waterloo, IA; the daughter of John and Alta (Brinegar) McMahon. She grew up and graduated in 1977 from Centerville High School. After graduation she attended AIC college and lived in several communities including Washington, IA and Riverside, IA prior to her moving to Davenport where she lived the past 25 years.

In her younger years, Cindy loved to explore and later took interest in cooking, especially lasagna. She was a fiery, but kind-hearted person who loved spending time with family and friends. She was a great waitress and worked at several restaurants/bars in the area and also had worked for a printing company in the Iowa City area. She was formerly married to Timothy Allen Becker of Washington County, IA; he preceded her in death.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons: Daniel (Toni) Becker, Riverside, IA and Robert Becker, Daytona, FL; granddaughters: Shelly Becker and Erica Becker; siblings: Paula Mize, Davenport; Pam (Gary) Jordan, St. Paul, MN and Diana Wallerich, Moulton, IA and her special friend and companion, Danny Martinez.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Joni McMahon and a brother, Roger McMahon.
