Cindy attended art classes at Blackhawk East Campus in Galva, IL and was a high-end appliance saleswoman for many years at Endorf’s Appliances and later, Flicks at the same location in Bettendorf, IA. She never met a stranger and brought light and a smile to the faces of her customers and many vendors.
Cindy was an avid fan of Barry Manilow, Neil Diamond and the Chicago Bulls. She shared a love of all three with the rest of her close family. She was also a cat and dog lover and was often referred to as “Dr. Dolittle” by her immediate family because of affection for pets.
She was also a gifted creative, producing several painted ceramic plates and Christmas ornaments with her kiln in her younger years. She also enjoyed working on art projects with her niece and nephew. Prior to her passing, she created a large custom greeting card on a poster board for the grandchild of a nursing home resident where she resided. She brought joy to the residents and nurses of Bettendorf Health Care Center and brightened the lives of her close family and cousins.
Cindy will be remembered as someone who loved and accepted everyone who entered her life.
