Claudia J. Hollingshed

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, October 4, 2013 at The Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the mortuary. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.

Claudia was born on December 13, 1986 in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Claudine and late Ricky Hollingshed.

She attended several schools in the Quad Cities later moving to Jacksonville, Illinois. She graduated from Jacksonville High School in 2005 and later from Brown Mackie College in 2012.

Claudia worked at APAC and several jobs in the Quad Cities. She was very devoted to her beautiful, precious daughter and loved being around her family and friends.

She loved to sing, dance, travel with her family, and basketball. Her favorite team was the LA Lakers. She was a member of the Metro Drill Team.

Claudia lived a great life and will be surely missed by her family and friends.

Those left to cherish her memory are, her only beautiful daughter Jamiah Hollingshed, GA., her beautiful mother, Claudine Hollingshed, GA.; two sisters and one brother, Santana Hollingshed, MO, and Rickia Hollingshed, GA and, Ricky Hollingshed, GA., her lovely sweet grandmother, Betty Jackson, Moline ; many special aunts and uncles and great aunt Evelyn Anderson, East Moline; great aunt Sadie Jackson, Davenport; special beautiful niece Markayla Newble, MO; many cousins and special sister friends, Jackie Bea, Treanna Mangrum, and Christina Martin.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ricky Hollingshed, grandmother Louise Hollingshed, grandfathers, Jimmy Hollingshed and Milton Jackson.
