Dale A. Chapman, 73, of Davenport, Iowa passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024 at his home. Visitation will be on Friday, February 23, 2024 from 10am – 12pm at Weerts Funeral Home with a graveside service with military honors to follow at Davenport Memorial Park.
Dale was born on February 27, 1950 to George and Louella Chapman in Phelps, Wisconsin. Following high school, Dale joined the United State Navy. He worked for International Harvester for 30 years before he retired. Dale was a big outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time at the family cabin up in Wisconsin. During his free time, he would often play games on the computer with his nephew Michael.
Those left to honor his memory are his brothers Jim and Don Chapman; nephews Michael (Charlotte) Chapman and Todd (Mel) Yock; and niece Tami (Pete) Richardt.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister and brother in law Elaine and John Yock.
