A Visitation will be held at Runge Mortuary on Friday, December 29, 2023 from 2:00 to 5:30pm; we will have a Rosary Service at 4:30pm. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.
Danny was born on June 25th, 1959 in La Junta, CO to Cesareo and Carmen Chavarria. He attended and graduated West High School in Davenport, Iowa. Daniel worked in the auto industry, hospitality, and custodial professions.
Daniel had several hobbies. He enjoyed the outdoors, he liked exercise and riding his bike all throughout the city, he was an avid cyclist. Daniel also was a singer and musician (trumpet and drummer). He played with the Band “El Sol” (The Sun) for several years in the Quad Cities! Daniel also loved football! He was a great fan of The Denver Broncos!
Above all, Daniel was a dedicated “Uncle” to all of his 12 nephews and nieces and 10 great nephews and nieces. He wore his heart on his sleeve. He was “One of a Kind” and will be lovingly missed by all of them including: David Nicklaus, Dana Nicklaus; Dillon Adams, Tina Adams, Paige Adams, Faith Adams, Leah Adams; Breanna, Autumn and Stevie Chavarria and several Great Nephews and Nieces. His greatest love and dedication was to his mother, Carmen Chavarria. He will Always be in Our Hearts!
Danny is a devoted Catholic and a practicing member of St. Alphonsus Parish in Davenport, Iowa.
Danny’s surviving family members include: Carmen Chavarria (Mother), Gloria Chavarria (Sister), Steven Chavarria (Brother), and Celeste Chavarria (Sister).
Daniel was preceded in death by his Father, Cesareo Chavarria.
