Dan was born to Owen (Richard) and Oma (Huling) Lindemier. Dan was a wonderful husband, son and man to all who knew him. Currently there are no services planned at this time as per his wishes, and memorials may be made out to his wife, Marla, and sent to the funeral home. Online condolences can be made at www.Rungemortuary.com
Dan began his journey as a contractor at the age of 14 when he began to help his father. Dan worked many jobs with his father and after his father retired, Dan took on the business, known as Lindemier Painting, in which he loved his career. He was the proud owner and operator of Lindemier Painting for 50 years before retiring in 2015.
He married his wife, Marla (Dalton) in 1974, and they spent 48 years together. Dan also loved spending time with his girls, Misty (Dalton) Barham, Madison Barham, and Christa Berkley Barham. Every opportunity he could get to spoil them, he would, because he had so much joy and love in every experience that he spent with his girls. Dan loved to sit outside on the back porch, listen to music, go on drives, and he enjoyed gardening.
Dan has left behind his wife, Marla; his sisters, Patricia (Robert) McCrery and Beverly Paul; his girls, Misty (Dave), Madison, and Christa; and his many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Dan was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Richard, from LaGrange, Kentucky.
The family would like to give a huge thanks to the care team who assisted in this hard time and a special thanks to the hospice nurse and his aid.
