Darlene D. Hill, 85, of Davenport, Iowa passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the Runge Mortuary followed by burial at the Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4-8 pm Wednesday October 18, 2017 at the mortuary. Online condolences may be left at www.therungemortuary.com. She was born October 8, 1932 in Fruitland, Iowa. She was the daughter of Louis and Virginia (Redmond) Lane. Darlene Lane was united in marriage to Buck Hill October 6, 1951 in Davenport, Iowa. He preceded her in death in 2004. She retired from Sears and Roebuck in Davenport after 38 years. She is survived by her daughter and son in law: Juanita (Dean) Gless, Port Byron; sons and daughter in laws: Larry of Davenport, Iowa; Daniel (Rebecca) of Davenport, Iowa; Rodney (Pamela) of Indianapolis, Indiana; grandchildren: Windy Gless, Enoch (Jazmin) Gooch, Donald Gless, Samantha (Matt) Houselog, Justin (Elizabeth) Hill, Virginia Hill and 9 great grandchildren.
