David William Blumer, 69, of Davenport, passed away August 16, 2016 in Davenport. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 12 noon, Friday, August 19, 2016 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Friday at the mortuary. Her served in the United States Navy and started a radio station, which he operated for several years in Paxton, IL. Later he had an automotive career. Survivors include his wife, Judith; his daughter, Wendy Glover and her sons, Garrett and Austin; son, Kevin Blumer, his wife, Donna and their daughters, Madison, Emily, Abagail and Zoe; brother, Paul Blumer, his wife, Kathy and their family; his uncle, John Blumer and his former wife, Cathy Blumer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Jeanette (Mertz) Blumer and a sister, Kathy Blumer.
