David W. Fountain, 66, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away on December 6, 2025. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 2-5 pm at the Runge Mortuary & Crematory. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.rungemortuary.com
Dave was born on December 2, 1959, in Kirksville, Missouri, to Herman Jr. and Connie (Ladwig) Fountain. On July 2, 2010, he was united in marriage to LaDonna McCollom. Dave enjoyed tractor pulling, dirt track racing, gardening, but most of all spending time with his family. He had a kind heart and was always willing to help others. Dave was a man of many talents.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife; children, DeAna Fountain, Jeremy (Carissa) Fountain, and Emilio (Carrie) Morris; 9 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren including his littlest buddy, Cameron. He is also survived by his father, Herman; 4 brothers, and many nieces and nephews.
Dave is preceded in death by his mother, Connie.
