David A. Kapolka

Funeral service will be 12:00pm Friday, February 27, 2026, at the Runge Mortuary & Crematory. There will be visitation from 10:00am to 12:00pm on Friday at the mortuary. David was born June 12, 1953, in Davenport, IA to David V. & Vivian (Bair) Kapolka. He was united in marriage to Judy Iseminger (Taylor) on September 10, 1977, in Des Moines, IA. David had been employed as a machinist for 42 years with Caterpillar retiring July 1, 2015. He was a member of the UAW local 2096 Pontiac, IL.

David was active in bowling leagues, enjoyed riding his motorcycle, and loved to do yard work keeping his yard meticulous. David was a very hard worker, always willing to help.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Kapolka; father David (Skip) V. Kapolka; sister Linda (Bill) Dunk; son David (Monica) Iseminger; daughters Jana (Michael) Iseminger – Hockill and Staci (Nathan) Stroven; 8 grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, & Cousins

David was preceded in death by his mother and Grandparents.
