David R Kelly

David was born July 5, 1946 in Muscatine to Dorothy Kelly. He served in the US Navy and Marine Corp from 1963 to 1970. He was united in marriage to Tammy Anderson on July 11, 2016 in Muscatine, IA. David had worked as a custodian and in construction maintenance prior to his retirement.

As a member of AA Muscatine, David was extremely proud to say he was 37 years sober. One of his favorite conversation topics was to remind people he was related the Emmitt Kelly a famous clown known as the “saddest Clown”.

Survivors include his wife Tammy Kelly, Muscatine, Son David R. Kelly Jr.; 2 step sons John Anderson, Muscatine, IA & James Dixon Monett, MO; 1 furry four-legged son Mr. Magoo; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sister-in-law Rhonda Munson; brother-in-law Donald Anderson; numerous nieces; nephews; great nieces; and great nephews.
