David F. Ramsey

David F. Ramsey, 76, of Davenport Iowa passed away on November 23, 2025. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Metropolitan Community Church of the Quad Cities at 4 pm. Immediately following services all are invited to a luncheon at the church. The address to the church is 290 W. Locust St. Davenport, Iowa 52804. Memorials may be made to the family. Dave was born on October 7, 1949, in Davenport, Iowa to Virgil and Margaret (Jorgenson) Ramsey. On October 27, 2011, he was united in marriage to Walt Youngman. They have enjoyed 41 years together. He and Walt enjoyed living on the farm and caring for their dogs. Dave also enjoyed watching Live PD, having a cocktail with friends and spending time with family.

Those left to cherish his memory include his husband, Walt; son, Shawn (Janna) Ramsey; grandchildren, Shawn T. M. Ramsey, Kodi Green, Elijah Weir; siblings, Steven Ramsey, Patti (Daryl Marten) Ramsey; nephew, James (Michele) Ramsey; great-nephew, Kevin Ramsey and beloved dogs, Suzy and Baby.

Dave is preceded in death by his parents.
