David C. Spray

The family will receive friends 10:00am till 12:00pm Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at the Runge Mortuary. The funeral service will follow at 12:00pm in the Runge Chapel. David was born December 29, 1956 in Des Moines, IA to James & Nancy (Drottz) Spray. He was united in marriage to Jane Fisher on February 1, 1975 in Asbury Methodist Church Bettendorf, IA. David was employed for 28 years with ALCOA retiring as a supervisor. Following retirement he also worked at the Bettendorf Family YMCA & Niabi Zoo. David was a member of the Gathering Church, Moline, IL.

Survivors include wife, Jane Spray, Bettendorf, IA; son, Bradley Spray, Bettendorf, IA; daughter, Brandie (Scott) Willers, Bettendorf, IA; grandchildren, Kevin Matreci, CA, Abbie (Nick) Deaton, Moline, IL, Halie Carman, Moline, IL, Selena Spray (Mike Jones), Davenport, IA, Dylan Spray, TX, Lily Spray, Bettendorf, IA, Christopher Lopez, Bettendorf, IA, and Madelyn Spear, KS; 6 great grandchildren; and his mother, Nancy Spray.

David was preceded in death by his father, and a sister, Michelle Alderson.
