David was born on May 18, 1947 in Fergus Falls, MN to Harold and Laverne Thielman. David was the athletic director and a coach at Richfield High School for many years.
Those to carry on David’s memory are his wife, Jan; sons John (Loudes) and Jason (Jennipher), grandchildren Zach and Camila, sister Nan Shumway and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Karen.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Memorials can be made in David’s honor to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
