Debra was born on December 30, 1954, in Iowa City, Iowa to Devonna Nattress. She retired as the owner/operator of Board Assemblers. Debra enjoyed working on puzzles, cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes and caring for cats, especially strays that were in need of a home. She was a very talented seamstress that enjoyed macramé and cross stitch. She also enjoyed designing artwork. Debra will always be remembered for her strength and her independent spirit.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Nathan (Sonya) McMichael; granddaughter, Kimberlee McMichael; sister, Sherri (Ben) Howard-Alaniz.
Debra was preceded in death by her mother; grandmother, Glendora Nattress and sister, Danielle Nicolette Johnson.
