Debra Sabel

Debra Sabel, 58, of Davenport, died Thursday, July 18, 2013 in Davenport. Funeral services will be Monday, July 22, 2013 at 1:00 pm at The Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be Sunday from 4-7 pm at the mortuary.

Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.

Debra was born January 3, 1955 in DeWitt, IA; the daughter of John L. and Phyllis (Holmes) Fox. She was united in marriage to Bruce E. Sabel, Jr., on July 24, 1987 in Davenport; he preceded her in death on December 27, 2009. She had worked at various companies in the Quad Cities and loved camping, vacationing; especially to Disney World; collecting dolphins and enjoyed a good cold Miller Lite. Her greatest joy was her family; especially her grandchildren.

Those left to honor her memory include her children: Stacy (Jamey) Padavich, Davenport; Shane (Amy) Sabel, Wapello, IA; Stacy (Cecil) Williams, Princeton, IA; Carrey (George) Ramey, Davenport; Bruce (Jessica) Sabel, III; 18 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and brothers: Daniel and Douglas, both of Davenport and Denny, Bettendorf.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Diane and Denise.
