Funeral services will be held on Saturday February 15, 2025, at Sacred Heart Cathedral at 11am. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time. Per Dennis’s wishes cremation rites will be accorded following funeral services. He will be laid to rest at Davenport Memorial Park at a later date. Memorials may be made in Dennis’s name to the American Cancer Association. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.rungemortuary.com.
Dennis was born on July 26, 1963, in Davenport Iowa to Eugene and Mary (Sexton) Bair. On April 24, 1999, he was united in marriage to Carla John. He retired from UPS in 2024 after 35 years of service.
Dennis enjoyed fishing, hunting and being outdoors. He also enjoyed working on cars, watching his son’s sporting events and spending time with family and friends. He was a hard worker that took pride in taking care of his family.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Carla; son, Colton; sisters, Joann Gray and Grace Lawrence; stepfather, Walt Miller; stepsister, Tammy (Shawn) Pfiffner; stepbrother, Timmy Miller; aunt, Theresa Woodard and many extended family members.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
