Edith B. Arp, 87, formerly of Sunbury, Iowa passed away Friday, January 22, 2016 at the Wilton Retirement Community. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm, Wednesday, January 27, 2016 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 12:30-2pm Wednesday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Blue Grass Cemetery. Edie was born October 2, 1928 in Sunbury, Iowa, a daughter of Fred and Fern (Wagner) Bohnsack. She attended Sunbury Independent School and spent most her life living on and managing her family farm. She was a member of the Willie Nelson Fan Club and a huge supporter of Farm Aid. Her hobbies included traveling, swimming and playing cards. Survivors include two sons, Kerwin Arp and Ken Arp, a daughter, Karene Nagel and a granddaughter, Kelsey (Adam) Nagel Overberg.
