Eric Dean Stewart

Eric Dean Stewart, 42, of Coralville, IA passed way Saturday, March 19, 2011 at his home. Funeral services will be 10:00AM Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at the Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Burial will follow at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is 3-7PM Tuesday at the mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to assist his children. Eric was born March 5, 1969 in Davenport to Larry & Connie (Speak) Stewart. He had been employed at Amana in North Liberty, IA for many years. More recently he was working at Hunters Supply in Cedar Rapids, IA.

Eric was a huge NASCAR fan. His favorite driver was Tony Stewart with the black & red # 14 car. The maze & blue of Michigan football was Eric’s second passion as he never missed a game & proudly supported the program.

Survivors include a son Jacob Stewart, Dixon, IL; 3 daughters Kennedy & Peyton Stewart, North Liberty, IA and Miley Stewart, Coralville, IA; Parents Larry & Cari Stewart, Taylor Ridge, IL; Brother Chad (Jill) Stewart, Erie, IL; Sisters Lori (Ron) Wright, Davenport, Allison (Keith) Avin, North Liberty, IA; grandmother Betty Speak, Davenport; step grandparents Granny & Doug, E. Moline, IL – Papa & Lisa, Milan,IL; 4 nieces; 1 nephew; and several aunts & uncles.

Eric was preceded in death by his mother Connie Stewart and a brother Cory Stewart.
