Ethel M. Daniel

Funeral services for Ethel M. Daniel, 84, of Moline, IL, formerly of Davenport, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary chapel, Davenport. The family will greet friends on Monday evening from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment will be at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Daniel passed away on Friday, May 17, 2013 at Heartland Healthcare Center, Moline. Ethel Marie Leonard was born on October 22, 1928 in Buffalo, IA, the daughter of Arthur and Mary (Benson) Leonard. On July 19, 1951 she married William G. Daniel in Davenport. He preceded her in death in 1999. Ethel worked as a cabinet painter at Brammer Manufacturing in Davenport. She enjoyed crocheting, but first and foremost she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by three Daughters: Jessica Peacock of Davenport, Brenda (Ray) Kilby of Silvis, IL, Melinda (Tim) Hoyt of Tennessee, IL; a Son: William (Dawn) Daniel, Jr. of Gilbert, AZ; two Sisters: Leota Daniel of Davenport, Inez Foster of Rock Island, IL; 11 Grandchildren and 5 Great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister and eight brothers. Memorials may be directed to Genesis Hospice.
