

Evelyn L. Moeller, 101 of Davenport passed away Thursday, February 15, 2018. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Monday, February 19, 2018 at St Paul Lutheran Church, Davenport with visitation beginning one hour prior to the service. Visitation will also be from 2:00 to 4:00 pm Sunday at the Runge Mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to St Paul Lutheran Church. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com. Evelyn was born May 24, 1916 in rural Scott County to Charles and Leona (Wiese) Krambeck. She was united in marriage to Harvey Moeller on February 24, 1937. He preceded her in death on May 13, 1994. Together, Harvey and Evelyn worked on the farm raising crops and a large garden, canning the yield every fall. They milked cows, fed steers, and raised hogs. She enjoyed raising chickens and selling eggs. Evelyn was a member in the 1920’s of the 4-H Lincoln Go Getters. Evelyn worked in the Culinary Arts Department at the Mississippi Valley Fair. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and a former member of Pythian Sisters Lodge #231. She was a very practical seamstress. Above all, Evelyn will be remembered for the kindness and patience she showed everyone. She adored her grandchildren and always made time for everybody. Those left cherishing her memory include son, Gerald (Bonnie) Moeller; son-in-law, Wayne Hansen; grandchildren: Michael Moeller, Stephen Moeller, Audrey (Alan) Amsden, Matthew Moeller and Laura Moeller and great grandchildren: Nathan, Sophia and Lucas Amsden, Lily and Anna Rowling. In addition to her parents and husband, Evelyn was preceded in death by her children, Janice Hansen and Lynn Moeller and siblings: Eldon Krambeck, Vera Dunton and June Krull.
