

Grahm Matthew Geigle passed away unexpectedly Monday, August 1, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Monday August 8, 2016 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12 noon on Monday at the Mortuary. Burial will be at Rock Island National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the family. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com. Grahm was born December 25, 1984, son of Elmer Geigle and Cynthia Ronk. Grahm was raised in Port Byron, IL where he was very involved with athletics program. His passion for running evolved after joining the track team in high school. He also played football, basketball, baseball and soccer. On April 13, 2009, Grahm united in marriage with Kaylynn Mathis. Grahm and Kaylynn welcomed two beautiful boys, Brayden Matthew, 7, and Cameron Douglas, 5. Though no longer together, Grahm and Kaylynn remained very close, lovingly joining efforts on the raising of their little boys. On October 18, 2013, Grahm married the love of his life Casey Shipley. Together they welcomed 3 beautiful babies, Aria Jo, 4, and twins Knox Jeffrey and Maylee Lou, both 10 weeks. Grahm joined the United States Navy immediately following high school graduation. Joining the Navy was a passion for him since he was 10 years old. After serving an Iraqian tour, Grahm was honorably discharged due to injuries sustained in an accident. Grahm’s passion changed to working everyday serving veterans in many capacities. He worked as a Human Resources Specialist at the Rock Island Arsenal since 2010. He was also very active in many veteran programs such as Wounded Warrior Foundation, Team Rubicon, RWB, and Live Uncommon. Grahm is survived by his loving wife, Casey and their three children, Aria, Knox and Maylee; two beautiful boys Brayden and Cameron, father, Elmer (Angie) Geigle; sister and brothers: Chase, Lainey and Logan; grandparents, Rod and Pat Stinson, Step father Randy Ronk and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and a large group of friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia Ronk; and grandparents, Glen Lewis and Helen Stringer, and Elmer and Betty Geigle and uncle, Bryce Geigle.
