Funeral services will be held Saturday February 29th, 2020 at 10:00Am at The Runge Mortuary in Davenport. Memorials may be made in Helen’s honor to the Dixon Fire Department. Helen was born July 24, 1925 in Donahue IA to Roy and Leila (Rohwer) Curtis. She was united in marriage to Robert Miller on November 26, 1944 in McCausland IA. In November they celebrated 75 years of absolute wedding bliss!

Helen was a loving housewife, mom and family woman. She was a wonderful baker and cook. She enjoyed working with kids as a 4H leader and also taught her kids how to drive farm machinery. Helen loved the farm and her horses, especially Belgians. She was a very giving woman and held everything together. She loved sports and was an avid Cubs, Bears and Hawkeye fan! There was rarely a day that she would miss her favorite T.V. show, As the World Turns. She was a member of multiple card clubs and loved to play 500. Helen adored square dancing with her husband and children.

Helen will be deeply missed by her husband, children; Betty (Jim) Engel, Beverly Watts, Kevin (Jill) Miller, 2 brothers; Ben Curtis, David Curtis, 1 sister; Margaret Claeys, grandchildren; Ellen, Curt, Andy, Rose, Patrick, Meghan, Jake and 9 great-grandchildren.
