Helen H. Withrow

Helen H. Withrow, 55, of Davenport, passed away on November 11, 2017 at her home. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Tuesday November 14, 2017 at the Runge Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on November 15, 2017 at 12 noon in the Runge Chapel. Burial will follow at the Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be left to the American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be expressed at www.therungemortuary.com. Helen was born on November 29, 1962 on Anshan City, Liao Ning Province of China to Hu Enlin and Wang Lihua. She graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering. After becoming a citizen of Canada, she met her husband Bill, they were married on September 07, 2003 at the Yosemite Valley National Park. Helen was most recently employed with RA Jones as an engineer. Helen enjoyed many simple pleasures in life. She enjoyed hot yoga, all types of dancing and traveling internationally. One of Helens favorite vacation destinations was visiting Jamaica. With every visit she was embraced by the locals. In fact, every person she met was embraced with her warm smile and big heart. She had a way of making people loved and accepted. Helen is survived by her Husband Bill of Davenport; one son, Wei Cui of Canada; Four brothers living in China; sister in law, Debbie Pardee of Bettendorf. She is preceded in death by her parents.
