Services celebrating her life will be Monday, March 11, 2024 at 12 pm at The Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be Sunday, March 10, 2024 from 4-7 pm at the mortuary and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Cremation rites will follow. Her final resting place will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may go to the family. Online condolences may be left at rungemortuary.com.
Holly was born in Fontana, CA on March 5, 1990. She was the beloved daughter of Richard Lee and Laura Lee (Desmond) Graap.
Holly was an amazing nurse for many years with Unity Point, Rock Island. She loved her co-workers and patients. She was a shining star even among nurses, receiving the Daisy Award in 2021. Holly was so driven to help everyone she could. She was currently working towards her MSN, while assuming her new role as RN supervisor with Unity Point Health Clinic- John Deere. She was a true inspiration to all, with a deep love of serving others.
She loved to bowl, having spent many years bowling with her family on many different leagues. She had the honor of serving as Director of the Financial Officer of the Greater Davenport Metro Bowling Association.
Holly loved completely and without hesitation. A true friend to all who met her. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family regularly.
Those left to honor her memory include her mother, Laura Graap, sister, Amanda Graap (fiancé Terran Kitzmiller), all of Davenport; nephew, Alex, niece, Keilani and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
In addition to her father, Richard (March 12, 2020), Holly was preceded in death by grandparents: Martin & Barbara Desmond and Donald & Barbara Graap; aunts, Dawn Cady and Mary Traschler and uncle, Phillip Desmond.
