Inez J. Mohr

Inez J. (Roehlk) Mohr, 88, of Eldridge, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the Kahl Home in Davenport. Funeral services will be Friday, April 17, 2015 at 1:30 pm at Faith Lutheran Church in Eldridge, IA. Visitation will be Friday from 11 am until 1:00 pm at the church. Private family burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church.

Inez was born April 4, 1927 in Davenport; the daughter of Hugo and Melinda (Brockman) Roehlk. She was united in marriage to Norman W. Mohr, on January 27, 1946 in Davenport; he preceded her in death on January 27, 2014. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Eldridge and the Plus 60 Club and volunteered at Genesis East Medical Center.

Inez’s family was of the utmost importance to her. Her other love was cooking. She was a very generous and giving person. A special thanks to her friend and caregiver, Shelly Kling.

Those left to honor her memory include her children: Linda (Raymond) Dykstra, Cheyenne, WY; Michael (Kris) Mohr, Eldridge, IA; Diane (Robert) Oster, Eldridge, IA; Brian (Tiffin) Mohr, Charlotte, NC and Gregg Mohr, Eldridge, IA; five grandchildren: Troy (Tami) Oster, Natalie (Kevin) Collins, Nicole (Chad) Brandmeyer and Jon and Joey Mohr; six great grandchildren and a sister, Carma Hoffman, Eldridge, IA She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
