Irvin A. Hill, 93, of Davenport, passed away Friday, June 5, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Tuesday, June 9, 2015 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Irvin was born on June 14, 1921 in Fairfield, IA, the son of Robert H. and Lola P. (Schultz) Hill. He was united in marriage to Delores Forgie on April 27, 1949 in Iowa City, IA. He was a World War II Army Veteran serving in the South Pacific (1943-1946).
Irvin liked to go fishing with his wife and was a devoted husband.
Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Delores; brother-in-law, Wayne (Bev) Forgie, Moline, IL and several nephews and nieces.
