Ivan L. “Ike” Aronson, Jr., 69, of Blue Grass, passed away February 9, 2013 at Genesis East Medical Center in Davenport. Burial was at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com.
Ike was born December 8, 1943, the son of Ivan Aronson, Sr. and Selma Dibbern. He was united in marriage to Catherine Sluga on April 22, 1972 in Bettendorf, Iowa. Ike graduated from Davenport West High School in 1962 and retired from Navistar in 2001.
Ike is survived by his wife, Catherine; daughter, Nikki Aronson; two brothers, Richard (Marion) Aronson and Steven (Lana) Aronson; one sister, Deborah (David) Krohn; and two grandchildren, Erin Pershall and Colin Hurlbut.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
