Visitation will be Friday from 12:30 pm until the service at the mortuary.
Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Online condolences may be left at www.therungemortuary.com
Jacklyn was born February 17, 1956 in Davenport, the daughter of Bennie and Anna (Hostetler) Franklin. She was united in marriage to Edward “Ed” Brus on October 31, 1992 in Davenport; he died December 11, 2002. She was a loving homemaker and enjoyed scrapbooking and spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. Jacklyn also was active in her church.
Those left to honor her memory include her brother, Robert (Holly) Franklin, Davenport; mother-in-law, Marie Brus and her family of the Walcott area; numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved, dog, Angel. Her parents and a sister, Sandra Franklin (2010) preceded her in death.
