Jacqueline “Jackie” Petty, 93, of Davenport, passed away on Saturday December 2, 2023, at Silvercrest Garner Senior Living. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 8, 2023 at Faith Lutheran Church, 1611 41st Street, Moline, IL. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Jackie was born on February 26, 1930 in Cedar Rapids, IA to Albert and Margaret (Hall) Dauffenbach. She was united in marriage to Richard “Dick” Petty on March 20, 1954 in Kansas City, MO. He preceded her in death on May 10, 2021. Jackie and her husband were truly an inseparable team. She worked as a bookkeeper for West’s Office Equipment; a business she owned with Dick. They traveled together across the country and internationally. Hawaii was their favorite destination, visiting over eighteen times. Jackie enjoyed caring for her husband and her family. She loved to bake and spent many devoted hours to reading her bible. Jackie was a long time member of Faith Lutheran Church, Moline.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Mitchell Petty, Erin Petty, Lindsey (Anthony) Surace; great-grandchildren Ana and Louie and a niece Mary Heffernan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sons, Stephen Petty and Jeffrey Petty, her sister Virginia "Dicksie" and brother-in-law Louis Valliere.
