Jane A. McMahon

Jane A. McMahon, 73, of Maquoketa, IA passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013, under the compassionate care of the Clarissa Cook Hospice House Bettendorf. Funeral services will be 11:00AM Friday at the First United Methodist Church Maquoketa, IA. Visitation will be from 4-8PM Thursday at the Runge Mortuary Davenport. There will also be one hour of visitation just prior to the service at the church. Cremation will follow with her final resting place being in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Jane was born April 5, 1939 in Dubuque, IA to Joseph & Mildred Koester. Jane married James McMahon on October 28, 1989; he preceded her in death on January 13, 2011. Jane was a 1982 graduate of National Chiropractic College. She had worked at Palmer Chiropractic College as a Clinical Advisor from 1986 till 1995 when she retired. Jane is survived by her five children Bill Jr. (Kathy), Wendy (Dave) Mueller, John, David, & Dan; 10 grandchildren; two brothers Tom (Pat) Koester & Joey Koester, and her ex-husband Bill White, Eldridge the father of their five children.
