Janece Anna Jordan

Janece A. Jordan, 80, of Davenport, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2011 at Davenport Good Samaritan Center. Funeral services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Davenport on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 10 am. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm, Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at the Runge Mortuary. Janece was born October 20, 1930 in Jackson County, Iowa, the daughter of Dietrick and Lillian (Warnke) Bolte. On July 4, 1947, she married Larry Jordan in Davenport. He preceded her in death January 23, 1983.

Janece was employed by the Internal Revenue Service, retiring in 1993. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, loved her family, and enjoyed traveling and camping.

Survivors include her children and spouses: Ron and Barbara Jordan of Redmond, WA, Keith and Robin Jordan of St. Louis, MO, Carol Ohl of Pasadena, MD, and Debra and Steve Loflin of Eldridge, IA; 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and sisters and brothers-in-law: LouAnn and Don Wright, Vaneta Kanakaras, Pauline and Jerry White, and De-Anna and Doug Leigh.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Daniel, and a brother, Wayne.
