Jim Allen Pieper

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Runge Mortuary. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. He will be laid to rest in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.

Jim was born a son of Robert and Ethel (Paulus) Pieper in Davenport, IA. He was united in marriage to Jackie Williams on July 23, 1983 in Davenport. He was employed for many years at Titan Wheel. Jim liked the Iowa Hawkeyes, riding his Harley and enjoyed smoothies from Coffee Revolution. He loved his family dearly and especially his dogs, Rocko and Max.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 35 years, Jackie; son, Cory Pieper; twin brother, Jerry (Judi) Pieper; sister, Christie (Tim Diaz) Gibson; numerous nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Louise (Jesse) Manasco; brothers-in-law: Doug (Julie) Williams, Steve (Sherri) Williams, Greg (Lisa) Williams and Jeff (Dawn) Williams; and sisters-in-law, Debbie (Dale) Murphy and Kathy (Ron) Schmacht.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; two sisters; brothers-in-law, Buck Gibson and Scott Williams; and best friend, Larry Joiner.

The family would like to thank his hospice nurse, Stephanie, Dr. Patton and his staff for their loving care and support.
