Joan R. Hodges, 74, of Bettendorf, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022 in the Bettendorf Health Care Center. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com
Joan was born July 24, 1948 in Davenport, the daughter of Joseph and Dorothy (McDonald) Ross. She married James Hodges on May 8, 1975 in Davenport. He preceded her in death.
She enjoyed collecting chicken rooster and clown figurines and shopping at Goodwill.
Those left to honor her memory include her sons, Tony (Nikki) Hodges, Davenport, Stacy Hodges, step-children: Austin Hodges and Johnnie Mae Hodges, Melonie Hodges and Felecia Hodges; grandchildren: Jasmine, Joshua, Chance, James Earl, Marietta, Danny, Kendra, Brooklyn, Anthony, Izabellah, Vanessa, Faren, Austin “AJ”, Anthony “Ray”, Olivia, Orion, Owen, Odysseus, Keevin, Tyra, Corrie and Teela “Rosie” and her brother, Rod (Jan) Ross, Davenport.
In addition to her parents and husband, Joan was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Tina Williams, grandson, James, brother, Charlie, sister Sandy and a brother-in-law, Jesse Hodges.
