Jon Timothy Day

Jon Thomas Day, 65, of Davenport Iowa passed away on Sunday September 21, 2025. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 26, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at the Runge Mortuary and Crematory Davenport, Iowa. A visitation will be held 2 hours prior to service time. Jon was born on June 22, 1960, in Orange County California to David and Navonne (Hansen) Day. On September 5, 2015, he was united in marriage to Deborah Heald. In 2021 Jon retired from the Rock Island Arsenal where he was an inventory management specialist. He was a member of the Masons, achieving Master Mason (the third degree). Jon enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, traveling, music, and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, papa, brother and friend. He will be missed dearly.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Deborah; children, Shauntell (Ryan) Sibley, Alexandria (Tyler) Garlock, Debinique Salazar, Joanne Hughes, John Hughes; grandchildren, Charlene, Wyatt, Rhona, Lucas, William; siblings, Becky (Dennis) Panozzo, Amy (Brian) Sheridan, James (Leeann) Day and countless nieces and nephews.

Jon is preceded in death by his parents.
