Jonnene Carol Hansen

Jonnene C. Hansen, 79, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 7, 2016 in the comfort of her home with her loving family by her side. Family and friends are invited to the funeral service at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Davenport. Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Runge Mortuary. Memorials may be made to the family. Online tributes and condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com. Jonnene was born on November 2, 1936 the daughter of John and Lorayne (Sweinberger) Heidbrink. She was united in marriage to William R. Simonovich on March 3, 1957. He preceded her in death on July 20, 1973. Later she married Howard M. Hansen on August 8, 1974. He preceded her in death on January 31, 2008. She retired from Doors Incorporated in 2000 after many years of service. Jonnene enjoyed spending time with her friends and family at her home around the pool. Her hobbies included: master gardening, bird watching, reading and golfing. Those left to honor her memory included her children: John V. (Pam) Simonovich, Bloomington, IL; Stacey (Vern) Moon, Port Byron, IL, and Leslie (Art) Depoorter, East Moline; grandchildren: Stephanie Simonovich, Billy (Rachel) Simonovich, Tony (Amanda) Bustos, Mathew (Ashley) Moon, Zac (Brittany) Wilken, Madison (Cayson) Jost, Greg (Kayla) Wilken, and Kaitlyn Depoorter; twelve great grandchildren; and her loving companion, Kenneth Troke. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands and stepson, Mathew Hansen.
