Juna Ferrell

Juna Rae Ferrell, age 62, of Davenport, Iowa passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. Juna was born on November 6, 1962, in Marion, Iowa to Leonard and Donna Fite. A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date. Online condolences and memories can be shared at www.rungemortuary.com.

Juna was united in marriage to Jack Ferrell on May 27, 1992, in Davenport, Iowa. Juna loved spending time with her husband Jack, and her three sons James, Justin and Jake. She was a loving and devoted mother to the three of them and later a grandmother to her growing family. Juna was a person of true nature in caring for others. She took care of everyone no matter what relation you were to her, and loved every minute of it. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren by taking them to the Dollar Tree. Juna was Dollar Tree's number one shopper. No matter what you needed she could find it at the Dollar Tree for you. She loved spending time crocheting blankets, and sewing for her loved ones in her spare time. Juna was a huge fan of crime shows, and could tell you about every crime show she watched. She loved a good ice cold Mountain Dew while enjoying her shows. She also enjoyed holidays spent with her family, and lived to watch her grandbabies open their presents, Juna was a selfless, loving and giving person to everyone she met.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years Jack Ferrell, her sons James Hendrickson Jr., Justin (Brianna) Ryder, and Jake (Jessica) Ryder. She was also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, her dear friend Julie, and a dog Peewee.

She is preceded in death by her parents Lenord and Donna Fite, brother Randy, Daniel and Larry Fite and whoever else passed before her that she knew.
