Kevin Fluharty, 53, of Elgin, IL passed away Saturday, November 30, 2013 at his home. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 1:00 pm at The Runge Mortuary. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com.
Kevin was born January 12, 1960 in Davenport, the adopted son of James and YuVawn Fluharty of Davenport. He graduated from Davenport West High School in 1978 and then graduated from Iowa State University in Ames, IA with a degree in electrical engineering. He had been employed at Motorola for twenty-five years. He enjoyed remodeling his home and his flower garden.
Those left to honor his memory include his sons: Bradly Fluharty of Colorado and Ryan Fluharty, of North Carolina; mother, YuVawn Fluharty, Davenport and many cousins. His father preceded him in death.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace United Methodist Church in Davenport.
