Kevin Paul Wilkins Sr.

Kevin Paul Wilkins, Sr., 53, of Davenport passed away Monday, August 14, 2017 at the University of Iowa Hospital. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Christian Center Church. Online condolences may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com.

Kevin was born December 31, 1963 in Rock Island, IL son of S. Glenn and Ruth (Gruile) Wilkins, Sr. He was a proud veteran of the US Army. Kevin was a respected and dedicated manager at McDonalds. On November 7, 2005 he was united in marriage to Stacie Gunn in Davenport, IA.

In his spare time Kevin enjoyed Christian music especially Fred Hammond and The Gaithers, working on cars, spending time with friends and watching his son play drums and sing. Family was very important to Kevin, especially his children. Pearl, his dog, was Kevin’s pride and joy.

Kevin was a member of Christian Center Church and enjoyed singing in the choir and running the sound board. He even traveled with Amy Grant running the sound board.

Those left to honor his memory include his loving wife, Stacie; children Mark Pilon, Andrew Wilkins, David Gunn, Michelle Mussmann, Coleen Mussmann and Cory Wilkins; brothers: Daniel (Mary) Wilkins, Joseph (Sharon) Wilkins, Connie Wilkins and Kim (Diana) Wilkins; sister-in-law, Penny Wilkins; nieces and nephews: Johanna, Robert, Vicki, Jason, Matt, Milke, Danielle, John, Bryan, April and Tony.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers: S. Glenn D. Wilkins, Jr, C. Michael Wilkins and twin brother, Karry E. Wilkins; Uncle Jack Wilkins and special friends: Robert Clayvon, Richard Clayvon and John Turnbull.
