Kim M. Fairchild

Cremation will be done with a memorial service to be held 12:00pm, Saturday (10/23) at the Runge Mortuary & Crematory Davenport, IA. Memorials may be made to the Special Olympics of Iowa. Online condolences may be shared at www.rungemortuary.com.

Kim was born September 2, 1957 to James & Winifred (Green) Fairchild in Charlevoix, MI. She had worked as a special education teacher and later as an in-home caregiver for special needs persons. Kim loved to play cards, board games, and going to amusement parks to ride the roller-coasters. He grandchildren were very special to her and she loved to spoil them.

Survived by a son, Keith King, Clinton, IA; 2 grandchildren, Jadyn and Brendyn King; 3 sisters, Sally (Irv) Drost, Cadiz, KY, Judy Gray, Norton Shores, MI, and Betty (Lee) Spence Boyne City, MI; Sister-in-law, Gloria Fairchild, Alpena, MI; and several nieces and nephews.

Kim was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert Fairchild.
