L. Carol Gott

Visitation will be held from 4-7 P.M. Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Runge Mortuary and Crematory. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Carol was born March 10, 1932 to Ernest Lewis and Lula Davis Lewis in Cincinnati, Iowa. She married the love of her life, Albert Gott, on December 13, 1952 in Centerville, Iowa and he passed away in 1993. She retired from JC Penny’s after 25 years of service.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, golf, traveling, reading, playing bunko, and going to lunch with her friends and family.

Those who will miss her dearly are her son, Randy Gott of Marshall, MO; daughter, Teri (Mike) Bertroche of Bettendorf; daughter-in-law Judy ; grandchildren, Kyle (Sara), Shayna (Brett), Amy (Jesse), Heather (Jim), Lindsay (Aaron), Amanda (Nate), and Ryan (Cleo) ; great grandchildren, Chanler, Kyla, Anthony, Emily, Kade, Kai, Kru, Charlotte, Colt, Jayden, Kendall, Parker, and Bella.

She is proceeded in death by her parents; husband; son, Tom Gott; sister, Leoma Duley; and brothers, Laverne Lewis and Ernest Lewis, Jr.
