Larry Gene Agan

Larry Gene Agan, 76, of Davenport, passed away November 17, 2018 at University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City. Per his wishes cremation rites have been accorded. Online tributes may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com. Larry was born on July 10, 1942 in Ottumwa the son of Forest and Harriet (Taylor) Agan. Larry was a good person and he loved his family. He especially enjoyed the family dinners and outings and adored his grandchildren. He had a knack for cars and had worked on them for years along with his grandson, Jason. In his younger years Larry enjoyed playing cards. Most recently he spent his time gambling on the boat, playing board games, especially Aggravation, and having conversations with Bill and Robert. He also had a soft spot for his dog, Taco. Those left to honor his memory include, children, Tonie (Bill Vest) Carrington, Davenport, Rusty Agan, Illinois, and Cindy Agan Mills, Davenport; grandchildren, Jessica (Bruce) Sabel, Muscatine, Heather Luth, Florida, Joey Parker, Abington, Illinois. T.J. (Trish) Parker, Davenport, Nicole Vest, Davenport, Jason Ray, Davenport, Eriq Coblentz, Davenport, Marcus Coblentz, Davenport and Angel Coblentz; great grandchildren, Athen, Ashlynne, Corrie, Megann, Taylor, Logan, Maykala, Jersilynn, Neveah, Blaidan, Michael, Kayden and Zoey; girlfriend Jackie Hines, Davenport, and best friend Robert Marsh.

He rests in peace with his parents, wife, Beverly (Heston) Agan; son Roger Agan, brothers, Jerry and Charlie Agan, nephew Ricky Agan and wife Dixie Box Agan Jones.
