Leah E Fritz, 93, of Davenport died Saturday September 17, 2022 at Promedica Davenport. Celebration of Life services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Weerts Funeral Home Kimberly at Jersey Ridge, Davenport. Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2022, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park following the funeral service. Memorials may be made to CASI.
Leah was born in 1928 in Streator, IL to Herbert and Amber Perry. She married Albert Fritz Jr. on January 17, 1948 in Rock Island. Leah held many successful positions including a dental hygienist, a representative with Prudential Insurance, a librarian at St. Ambrose College, and a Real Estate agent. Leah was loved by all who knew her. She had a deep passion for dogs, especially her Collies; her last dog was Chloe.
Survivors include sons Eric (Kathleen) Fritz of Sacramento, CA, Roger Fritz of Winter Haven FL, Kevin (Jonnie) Fritz of Preemption, IL; Grandchildren Kevin David Fritz, Alan Fritz, Kimberly Fritz, Joseph Fritz; Great Grandchildren Mariah Trujillo, Macy Trujillo, Julian Fritz, Hayleigh Fritz and Lucian Fritz.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Herbert (Marian) Perry and a grandson, John Fritz.
