Linda Dorothea Lantau

Services will be Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 2 pm at The Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be Thursday from 12 pm until 2 pm. Her final resting place will be in Fairmount Cemetery. Memorials may go to the family. Online condolences may be left at rungemortuary.com.

Linda was born December 7, 1954 in Davenport. She was the daughter of Roland and Hanna (Korner) Heiser Sr. She graduated from Davenport Central High School in 1973.

She married Richard Wayne Lantau on September 28, 1974 in Davenport. He preceded her in death on May 7, 2009.

Linda was a dog groomer at Snip & Clip for many years and last worked for Walmart. She dearly loved animals and had a special love for her Chihuahuas. Everyone was her child, not just her own. They all called her mom or “Momma Linda” and her home was always open to all.

Those left to honor her memory include her children: Tanya (Nancy) Rathjen, Lantau, Ft Myers, FL, Hanna (Jake) Lantau, Eldridge and Cody (Emilee) Lantau, Buffalo, “adopted daughter,” Tiffany Warner, grandchildren: Richard, Randy, Easton, William and Hunter (on the way), Alex, Nicholas and Alicia along with many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Shawna Lantau, sister, Connie Offerman and brother, Roland “Punch” Heiser, Jr.
